I have realised through this process that my usual research and development phase needs to be more integrated into the design and practical process. I need to stop processing the research as an important part and start playing having fun with design! this is also having an effect on my time schedule i should be test shooting and designing actively rather than at the moment i am doing constant research.

{ Week 1 Mentoring Session }

Our first meeting with Sharon & Mentoring group we gave a brief outline about each of our projects a few points were highlighted during this process, highlighting the importance of organisation and planning, this is something I have understood will be  key to the next few months in making sure the project runs smoothly and each week is being utilised efficiently due to this my projection plan needs to be looked at and revised again in more detail. Also stressing the importance of locking down collaborative partners doing things like sending out call sheets is a good way to contract someone to a date. Personal feedback for my project was to really find the importance of books as a medium, and the target market, creating something that is worth investing and people want to come back to and read over and over again. Sharon suggested looking to interactive children's books as a point of inspiration although i would like to vary the range of interaction within the book i need to keep in mind my target audience and that was around 30-45 mark something i am not sure Sharon quite understood.

From this it has stressed the importance of planning and testing having previously recognised this as a weakness already in my project it is something i aim to do in the upcoming weeks. START TESTING*
